Specially Designed Kibbles

Extensive research has shown that different breeds of dog employ different prehension when eating; some breeds pick up food with their teeth, some with their lips, some with their tongues and some even with the underside of their tongues. There is a clear benefit in providing every dog with food it can physically and comfortably eat, so our kibbles are specifically shaped to suit the jaws and teeth of each breed.

A tendency to weight gain
• Inhibits the proliferation and differentiation of adipocytes conjugated linoleic acid
• Promotes the transport of fatty acids into mitochondria L-carnitine
A tendency to develop periodontal disease
• Texture and shape of the kibble promote a mechanical tooth cleaning action
• Sodium polyphosphate binds salivary calcium making it unavailable for tartar formation
An early tendency to chondroidal metaplasia of the intervertebral discs
• Helps hydrate the nucleus pulposus chondroitin
• Helps support cartilage health through intake of glycosaminoglycans glucosamine
• Intake of fish oil, a source of EPA/DHA, promotes maintenance of joint health
An average life expectancy of 11 years
• Neutralises free radicals, the negative effects of which increase with age vitamins E & C, lutein,

Dachshund translates from German as badger hound as their distinctive long, low backs and strong bandy legs enabled them to hunt badgers, even underground.

Dachshunds over 10 months

Indications:

Maintenance of Dachshunds over 10 months.

Product advantages:

Intake of conjugated linoleic acid (CLA) limits the accumulation of fatty acids in adipocytes.
L-carnitine promotes the transport of fatty acids across the cell membrane and into the mitochondria (fat mobilisation) as well as their oxidation to produce energy.

The kibble's texture and shape promote a mechanical brushing action limiting the formation of dental plaque. Sodium polyphosphate, present on the kibble surface, binds salivary calcium
and thus limits tartar formation.

Intake of both chondroitin and glucosamine promotes healthy intervertebral discs and contributes to the cartilage turnover. Omega-3 fatty acids (EPA/DHA) have a beneficial effect on the joint integrity

Intake of vitamin C and E, selenium, taurine, lutein and green tea and grape seed polyphenols helps to delay the onset of the signs of ageing, preserve the dog's cognitive faculties and stimulate his immune defences.
Reduced phosphorus helps support renal function.
